  • Apr. 2 to May 23 - The Rusty Pistols help entertain 4th grade future poets and help them to learn about Arizona Cowboy & Ranching History and to write a cowboy poem of their own.   These poems are judged by a committee of five and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place are chosen from each class and presented awards and invited to recite their poems at the Arizona Cowboy Poets Gathering on Saturday morning, August 10, 2024 at Yavapai College.
